This article discusses how the popular young-teen show, 13 Reasons Why, may have over romanticized the idea of suicide for the teens of today. A quote within the article states "Half of suicidal adolescent show viewers in a hospital sample say the controversial television series contributed to their suicide risk, a new report finds." This was then later studied by researches (Michigan Medicine) to prove these studies. The results came back displaying that children often watched this show alone, and when already being vulnerable to these risks, the children who were already suffering, may have taken action.
