On Sept 26 of 2019, police were called to a group home because Immanuel, a 15 year old boy with no arms or legs, was screaming and had knocked over a trash can. When the officer arrived, Immanuel continued to yell and tried to push past the officer which caused the officer to tackle him to the ground, pin him in a headlock, and continue to yell at Immanuel even after Immanuel stopped resisting. The officer was put on leave for a criminal investigation to take place. I rate this occurrence on the pain scale as a 6 because the officer tackling Immanuel was uncalled for and Immanuel was completely helpless, vulnerable, and unable to defend himself due to his condition. This event is #psycho because the officer must have had some psychological reason for attacking Immanuel, such as a need for power or insecurities leading him to resort to violence.
