Analysis: 1 in 5 students in California Have Thought About Killing Themselves

A study taken over the span of four years showed that 1 in 5 students in CA, from ninth and eleventh grade, have thought about killing themselves. The percentage of students who had suicidal thoughts, however, differed from school to school. I chose this article because I believe that mental health is very important and there are things that can be done to lower suicide rates.
