Three mothers and 12 children living in Mexico were travelling in three cars to go shopping and to the airport. Ambushed by an unknown number of attackers. Police recovered about 200 spent shell casings at several locations near the town of Bavispe. They also found the Chevrolet Tahoe with five bodies inside had a burned out frame. The other two cars were about ten miles apart. In all, three adults and six children were killed and four others wounded. Lebaron said some victims' families believe the ambush may have been caused by mistaken identity. But, he said, even when the attackers realized there were only women and children in the car, they did not back down. #GEOG203 #bio  pain scale 10.
