What do you know about A Fake Psychologist Treated Troubled Children, Prosecutors Say?

A couple of parents needed a therapist to help their children with behavioral and mental health issues. Glenn Payne, a 60 year old man, lied saying he was a neuropsychologist with advanced degrees. For at least 6 years, Payne provided therapy that he was not qualified to give in New York and California. In June, Payne was formally charged in a 55-count indictment. This is an example of psychological pain because his clients had to suffer psychologically as they were not provided with proper care. Patients were required to pay his fees out of pocket. This is a major issue because it raises questions about other adults posing as fake therapists in order to trick patients and make money, while deteriorating the mental health of their patients. I believe this event is more related to psychological pain because it has a major impact on the mental health of Payne's patients, along with mental health patients across the nation who may have doubts regarding the credibility of their current therapist.
