Normally, it can be very hard legally deciphering how to charge someone for an opioid suicide, but in this case it was easy.  AJ Hunt sold a 19-year old University of South Carolina student 20 xanax pills so that she could commit suicide, and when she told him they did not work, he followed up by selling her 10 oxycodone and then instructing her on what else to take with it so she could die.  This time it worked, and a day later she died.  There are a lot of overdose suicides that are unintentional by the dealer, but in this case it was obvious that Hunt knew what she was buying so many pills from him for, but went with her for the extra money.  This case is especially sad and malicious which is why he was sentenced 24 years for "handing her a loaded gun".
