A former Dallas police officer killed her unarmed black neighbor in his apartment was found guilty of murder Tuesday when she walked into his apartment thinking it was hers after being on duty.

I chose this because it has been a very controversial issue on whether or not the woman should be convicted of murder. I think you could easily relate this accident to any of the bio, psycho, or social levels, but since I'm missing the social level and I can relate it to this I will. On a #social level, this situation would've been avoidable if 1. There wasn't a social stigma around African American males, she would not have been so "frightened" to see the man.  and 2. if there wasn't such a reliance on guns to provide us security and safety, this also wouldn't have happened. This pain level would've been a 10/10 at the time of him being shot. a 10/10 for the family feeling grief. and a 10/10 for the girl who shot him knowing shes going to jail. #GEOG203
