What do you know about Announcer suspended for seemingly racist remark?
San Francisco 49ers announcer Tim Ryan was recently suspended for remarks he made on national television. “He’s really good at that fake ... but when you consider his dark skin color with a dark football with a dark uniform, you could not see that thing,” I decided to include this because we learned about racism in the course this year and what society deems acceptable in terms of it. Would a black announcer be suspended for saying this? To me this goes under the #social category. In the pain scale itd be a 1-2.
