Australia is currently dealing with an opioid crisis of their own.This is mainly the result of pharmaceutical companies in the US have gone on to other countries and started to heavily promoted these drugs. Australia's death rate from opioids has doubled in the past ten years, and it is on track to pass America in the number of deaths from opioids.
