A now former Dallas policewoman entered a man's home mistakenly and fatally shot him. She was off duty and entered her apartment complex and mistakenly walked into the wrong apartment under the assumption it was her. She then found the innocent man and proceeded to shoot him, which led to his death. I chose this topic as it displays several cases of pain: the man that was shot felt pain prior to his passing, his friends and family are mourning the loss of a beloved one, and the woman now has to face jail time and live with her decision.
