The drug K2 is quickly making its way across communities in downtown Dallas. In a 10 month period in 2017, 228 arrests were made relating to the drug and the areas that have been hit the hardest are in homeless neighborhoods. There are many reports of people being seen passed out on sidewalks and all over the city. The drug causes become agitated and aggressive and in multiple cases has even led to heart attacks. Many parents and families are worried because they are seeing people passed out when they walk down the street. The city is trying to track down known dealers and prevent the drug from getting into the city altogether.
