Former youth soccer coach Alexander Waterbury pleaded guilty Tuesday to four counts of felonious sexual assault. Waterbury told the court that he takes full responsibility for what he has done and the lives he has hurt. Prosecutors said Waterbury asked the young woman to come to his apartment in Keene to help with his dog. That is when the assaults took place. Waterbury said in court, “What I did was wrong, it was beyond wrong. It was unforgivable, and I take full responsibility for the actions. I know I destroyed trust and trust is really hard to come by.” He was sentenced to 3 1/2-years in prison and must register as a sex offender for life.

I added this to the map because I feel like sexual assault is something that happens way too often and is a social problem that we are encountering in the United States, and I think it is important to spread awareness of it.
