What do you know about Human Right Violations?

Amnesty’s State of the World’s Human Rights report, published Thursday, assessed human rights violations in 159 countries in 2017. It claimed a broad clampdown on human rights had created a “more dangerous” world. Places like Venezuela, Yemen, Turkey, and Turkey are just some of the places in the world that have been reported with not following through on treating their people with the basic human rights everyone should be given. From food and water shortages to restriction of personal freedom, these places have not treated their people fairly.

Based on what we learned in class, this article relates to psychological health of how people are in pain all around the world. This also related to what we talked about how health is related to geography. Natural disasters can prevent countries from growing and thriving because they lack the basic needs of food and water.
