There was a stabbing attack by a terrorist on the London Bridge on November 29. The attacker was stopped by civilians who disarmed the man and used fire extinguishers to disrupt the terrorist. Apparently there was another incident with this man, Usman Khan was arrested eight years prior "as part of a major counterterrorism operation" (Shukla, Chavez, and Silverman). I chose to include this because it does not only affect those in London, but the entire world. Terrorism attacks have been a major concern within the past couple decades and have brought pain and sorrow to so many families around the world. This is an example of biological pain for those who were stabbed and social pain for those who knew any of the victims. This can also have a psychological pain effect for those who may have witnessed the attack or are now mentally damaged because of the event occurring.
