1. My previous entry about police brutality caused a lot of attention to be drawn to police violence towards minority races in the Baltimore area. The event has been related to the hospitalization and death of Freddie Gray, resulting from an attack by police officers in Baltimore city. Freddie’s death caused riots in the area in 2015 that were covered by media outlets globally, and these riots became a well-known event in the history of the fight against police brutality.
