The company is well known for producing the painkiller drug OxyContin, which they ran an aggressive market plan for. These questionable actions preformed by the company has put them under much public scrutiny in recent years, even resulting in them paying millions of dollars due to lawsuits against them because of the role they have played in contributing to America's opioid crises.
