In the past year of 2019, Yuzhang Academy was a quite popular topic in China. This academy originally claimed that they could "cure" Internet addiction by teaching their students traditional Chinese culture. However, the stigma was exposed recently that they actually lied to the parents of their students since a series of illegal abuse were frequently used to their "moral education" towards the young students.

Pain Level 9: The children were locked and restricted in a tiny dark jail-liked room without any window once they disobey the authority of the academy for 3 days. During the period of punishment, only limited and inferior food provided. The children could not even lie on the ground since the room is too small. Besides, the children who made mistakes and could not complete their tasks would be physically punishment, which happened often in the academy.
