From the plaque on the picture This water wheel from Streetsville P.U.C.'s power plant at the dam in the Credit River dates back to 1907. It provided the first supply of electricity to the Streetsville area and today is a visible reminder of the contribution of the Credit River to the progress of the Streetsville Community.
