This is an urban park on Bloomington's north side, located between two main north-south arteries—Walnut Street and College Avenue. 

2001-2004 Renovation
Miller-Showers underwent a major renovation starting in 2001 with completion in 2004.  Prior to the renovation, the park was underutilized and frequently flooded. <more here, describe the controversy/complaints, changes, awards)

Public Art
The park contains two Indiana limestone sculptures by local artists: "Axis" (1985) by Dale Enochs and "Red, Blond, Black, and Olive" (1980) by Jean Paul Darriau.  <more here, describe the sculptures. Can we add a photo?

Wildlife
Wildlife spotted in the area includes red-wing black birds, blue herons, Canada geese, redhead ducks, mallard ducks, snapping turtles, and muskrats,
