Synopsis
The Grass Valley Library official name is the Grass Valley Library-Royce Branch. Named after notable philosopher and Grass Valley resident Josiah Royce, the library is on the National Register of Historic Places. The library was built near the birthplace and home of Josiah Royce. It was officially renamed the Royce Branch in 2005.
The library offers free wi-fi for users. While it may be the most convenient wifi spot, the place lacks outlets for you to plug your computer into. There are also desktops you can sign-up to use but they tend to fill up quickly.
It has a decent selection of movies. Books can be requested from the other libraries in the Nevada County library system (such as Truckee) if they are unavailable here.
