Dennis Leon (1933 – October 22, 1998) was an Oakland sculptor and painter. He taught at California College of the Arts and was chair of the sculpture department from 1972 until 1988. He was a professor emeritus until 1993. 1
Leon was born in London, England, and emigrated to the U.S. in 1951. He studied art at Temple University, then joined the faculty of the Philadelphia Museum College of Art in 1959. 1
