Fred Maggiora (?-?) was a long-time member of the city council serving from 1951 until 1979.
Maggiora was also a member of the Olympic Basketball Committee, who lobbied hard to get Don Barksdale on the 1948 Olympic team. "Maggiora said he went through holy hell for it—closed-door meetings and begging." 1
