Glenview Junior High School was a short-lived junior high school on the site of present-day Oakland High School. The first classes started in January 1924, and by January 1929, it had been combined with the newly-built Oakland High School. 1
Even shorter-lived was the original name. When classes started in January 1924, it was Susan B. Anthony Junior High School, but by April 1924, students had raised enough of a fuss that they renamed it. 2
