The Oakland Heritage Alliance’s popular house tours feature Claremont Pines and Upper Rockridge, which emerged as suburban garden developments in the first decades of the twentieth century. This tour offers a rare opportunity to view splendid examples of Tudor and Mediterranean revival style homes, including residences designed by some of Oakland’s most distinguished architects, William Schirmer and Geoffrey Bangs. This year, OHA offers a new twist – two different tours to fit your schedule and your pocketbook.
Vintage Vistas, 1-4 pm
Afternoon tour offers the opportunity to view home interiors and enjoy light refreshments. Put on your walking shoes and explore the neighborhood! We will provide a street map for a self-guided walking tour to better enjoy exterior views of additional homes, vistas, and local landscaping. This tour offers the opportunity to study the eclectic architecture in a neighborhood that sprang back to life after the devastating 1991 Oakland hills fire.

Sunset Over the City, 5-8 pm
Festive evening tasting tour features music with libations and appetizer pairings at tour homes from. Enjoy leisurely socializing with OHA members, homeowners, neighbors, architecture experts and professionals at this multi-venue reception experience benefiting OHA.
Includes access to “Vintage Vistas” tour from 1-4 pm.

Parking: Un-metered street parking is available on Broadway and on nearby neighborhood side streets. The parking lot at St. Peter's Anglican Church may be used ONLY after 3:30 PM.
