The Kaiser Roof Garden is a large landscaped park on the roof of a five-story, 1339-space parking structure in the Kaiser Center office complex near Uptown Oakland. Admittance is free. The 3.5-acre rooftop garden has a reflecting pond, wooden bridge, expansive lawns, mature trees and ample seating. From mid-June through early September, there are free concerts at lunchtime featuring a variety of musical styles.

Location

The garden is accessible via the parking garage elevator near 21st and Webster Street. There is also a stairway from the alley and a pedestrian bridge from the 2nd floor of the Kaiser building.
