Nieves Cinco de Mayo is a small ice cream shop in Fruitvale run by Luis Abundis. The ice cream and sorbet is made by hand, and comes in some interesting and unusual flavors like corn, cactus, cheese, and rose petal, along with more traditional flavors like spearmint. They also sell raspados, which are like snow cones, but with handmade syrups.
