The Regional Athletic Complex is named one of the best outdoor sporting venues in the state. It includes six regulation sized soccer, rugby, and football fields, and five outdoor softball, baseball and fastpitch fields. The RAC is not only an athletic center, but a nice place for families. There are picnic tables, playgrounds and trails that are fun for children and families.
Looking for a fun activity to do with family and friends? Well, many special events are held at the Recreational Athletic Complex! Here is a list of events to look out for:
Rampage at the RAC -Held in October -Details: This is a 5k obstacle course/run. This is a fun event for any individuals age 14 or older. Sprint up hills, crawl through mud pits, and jump over fire! If you like a challenge, this is the event for you!
Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble -Held in March 2014 -This event is held only for adults eighteen and older! Hunt for eggs with your friends, but don't forget bring a bag for goodies you find, and a flashlight for finding eggs in the darkness!
