Redress Raleigh aims to reorient mainstream fashion to be socially and environmentally aware, becoming a catalyst for major change in the retail industry. We question the status quo of retail - both the mainstream consumption of fast fashion and the unattainable high-fashion of eco-couture.

Redress Raleigh equips people with the knowledge to make eco-conscious apparel choices - from materials to upkeep - and produces an annual show that highlights the latest in creative eco-fashion. The company also works with local green designers to increase their social impact and grow their market.Redress Raleigh also believes that giving back to the community creates goodwill and plans to grow mutually beneficial relationships with organizations that help people in need.

Redress Raleigh was established in 2008 by Mor Aframian, Jamie Powell and Elizabeth Stewart. Each producer brings ideas from her own background to Redress Raleigh, creating a diverse vision of design innovation, retail practicality, and eco-chic. The three work with an amazing group of volunteers who make the organization's year-round events possible. A combination event planning agency and marketing firm, Redress Raleigh connects local eco-designers with customers as well as hosts DIY workshops and networking events focused on building an environmentally conscious relationship with fashion and textiles.

Redress Raleigh is open every First Friday from 6 - 10pm, for special events, and by appointment only. We're located at 706 Mountford Ave, Raleigh NC 27603.  For more information contact [email protected] or sign up for the newsletter.
