The Shore Grief Center provides peer-based support groups for kids, teens, young adults and adults located in Wake Forest, N.C.

There is no charge to attend. The kids, teens and young adults group incorporate art therapy as well as sharing in the group.

The Shore was established as a nonprofit in August 2012 by Carolyn Zahnow, the author of "Save the Teens: Preventing suicide, depression and addiction." She speaks at local PTSA meetings and other gatherings of concerned parents about teen depression and substance abuse. Depression can often follow the death of a loved one by any means. The Shore is here to help navigate the waters of grief for ages 6 and up.

Groups currently meet at Wake Forest United Methodist Church located at the intersection of 98 Bypass and S. Main St. in Wake Forest.
