Reno, Sparks and Washoe County declared a state of emergency on Nov 30, 2012 in anticipation of flooding of the Truckee River on Dec. 2 and 3. The National Weather Service issued a flood watch from 10 pm Saturday, Dec 1 to Sunday afternoon, Dec. 2, but then cancelled the watch around 3 pm on Sunday, Dec. 2.
