The Knitting Factory is a mid-sized music venue and bar in downtown Reno. It opened in 2009 and with a capacity of 1265, it has brought in a steady stream of acts too big for a bar, but too small for a stadium. It features a long main hall, and an upstairs balcony. You have to enter, not on Virginia Street as you might expect, but around the back by Fulton Alley.
