Welcome to The Family Institute of Pinole.  We are a private, non-profit licensed community psychology clinic located in Pinole, California in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The mission of the Family Institute of Pinole is to provide excellent quality, low-fee mental health services to families, couples, children/teens and adults in the West Contra Costa County area.  An important aspect of our program, is the training of mental health professionals in working with children and families.  We currently have 18  pre- and post-doctoral Ph.D. in therapists providing clinical services.

Founded in 2000, FIP provides a full range of services including family therapy, couples therapy, child play therapy and individual adult therapy.  We also offer psychological testing.  FIP offers a wide variety of therapy support groups each year.
