I have created this space because I have personally seen the great benefit that yoga can bring to a person’s life through my own yoga journey. My classes offer you a safe space for you to take some time for yourself - whether that is for stress reduction, healing, a greater capacities for compassion and self-awareness, or physical benefits like flexibility, strength, pain reduction, or simply a greater ease and comfort in one’s embodiment. Basically, yoga has made me happy, so I want to share it with you ♥
A Little About Me: I am a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. I enjoy combining my two passions by offering holistic yoga that encourages an awareness of the mind, body, and spiritual aspect of the practice. I strive to provide a safe experience that will encourage people to trust themselves and honor their heart, on and off the mat.
I became strongly influenced by yoga during my graduate work and completed a teacher training at Yoga Fit in 2011 and in 2014, I completed my 200-yoga teacher training (RYS) with Kate Saal at One Flow Yoga Studio in Sacramento, CA. Since that time, I has been teaching privately as well as group classes in the Sacramento area.
My love for Vinyasa and Restorative yoga has lead me to continue her yoga studies and strengthen my practice. I have attended workshops and retreats in Asana yoga, Pranyama yoga, yoga nidra for sleep, and restorative yoga.
I graduated from CSU Sacramento with a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I currently am a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern working in Private Practice and also as a therapist in the Intensive Outpatient Program at Eating Recovery Center of CA.
