The Wind Harp is a giant instrument sculpture at Oyster Point which plays the wind, so try to visit on a windy day. It is located on the Genentech campus.

The Wind Harp was designed by Lucia Eames Demetrios (daughter to Charles and Ray Eames) and Aristides Demetrios and constructed in 1967. At 92 feet tall, it is one of the largest aeolian harps in the world.

Bike riding to the Wind Harp from SF has been described as "horrible," "risky," "boring," "dangerous," and "a great day trip." A route avoiding Bayview/Hunter's Point/Tunnel Road is recommended.
