SF State is the first CSU to offer reduced-rate housing. The Reduced-Rate Student Housing Program offers housing to First-time Freshman at 25% lower than the traditional rate. Students will receive a reduced room feee of $9,900 per academic year. Freshman who receive a Cal Grant A or B financial aid award are eligible for this program. There is no separate application and students are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
