Logistics
-
Facilities can provide all of the infrastructure for the competition
-
Infrastructure in place for San Luis Garbage: they can provide regular weigh-ins.
-
Trash is total campus
-
-
Recycling has 3 different avenues
-
Front loader
-
Rear loader
-
Rolloffs
-
-
Due to the above, we had a group consensus to focus on a whole campus effort instead of just one area.
-
Weights from San Luis Garbage are sent out once a week for commingled recycling.
-
Scott has numbers for diversion rate
-
There is a scale on campus but San Luis Garbage has their own and already weighs everything.
-
Construction waste has long been skewing the numbers in our favor
-
-
Must get weekly numbers instead of monthly for the trash.
-
Facilities can work on this.
-
We can interpolate if we have to.
-
-
We will have a meeting with housing, ASI, campus dining, scott, dennis, Rich, and green campus soon.
-
Last meeting determined there is an incredible need for an outreach campaign
