The Team

Rory Aronson

I am a 5th year Mechanical Engineering student from San Diego, California. Growing up on the beach, I understand how awesome it will be for people to use a beach wheelchair to fully experience what I have. I am very excited to be working with such a progressive organization and hope that my involvement with this project can make some people very happy. In my free time, I enjoy surfing, cycling, rock climbing, cooking, gardening, and building things.

Joshua Marcum

I am a 5th year Biomedical Engineer.  I grew up in Palo Alto, CA.  During my free time I enjoy outdoor activities especially biking and backpacking.  I’m excited to get to use the skills I’ve learned during my time at Cal Poly to help people.

Alex Hayes

I’m a 5th year Mechanical Engineer here at Cal Poly. I’m from Porterville, California.  I enjoy hiking, taking strolls in natural settings, drawing, writing music, singing and playing the piano.  I am very excited to work on this project.  I feel like it will be a fun challenge and I look forward to produce something that will help others enjoy the beach as I do.

Sam Coyne

I am a 5th year General Engineer from San Diego, CA. I spend most of my free time at the beach surfing. I think it would be great for everyone to enjoy the beach while getting some exercise. I’m looking forward to this project.
