ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS MARKETS

These events are  highlights of our December holiday season.  An annual event, sponsored by John Wesley United Methodist and Christ Presbyterian Church, they give residents an opportunity to help people who will truly benefit from your gift. Organizations set up booths/tables filled with information about their group.  You can wander around the area of each church where the displays are, and choose just the right "gift" for friend and family.  All "gifting" benefits the chosen organization, with church members doing the work at organizing,  collating sales, and preparing gift cards.  In addition to the organization, there will be gifts available for purchases from different missionary groups, such as coffees, handcrafts, etc.  Through the organizations you can purchase intangible items, such as food for one person for a day, roof shingles, reading materials, emergency bus tickets.   For more information contact the churches, check our local paper, also.
