Following are listed  places, events, activities to stimulate your mind , senses and provide fun and enlightment.  Activities/events are listed by day of the week.

First Friday Gallery Hop--Various venues from Jan. - Dec., always the first Friday.  Involves the enjoyment of local art at different locations, including Railroad Square.  Museums are open late.  It's all free1!

First Saturday:   Mission San Luis has a lecture/presentation series from 10:30 - 11:30 am. Topics enhance the Missions history.

                            Astronomy club and the Sky Guy bring you "Skies Over  Tallahassee" for the particular month at the IMAX Challenger Center at Kleman Plaza.

                          Downtown Market Place from March - Nov.  Ponce de Leon Park at Park Ave.  Live entertainment, music, arts, crafts, plants, food to purchase, and a farmer's market.

First Sunday:  St. Marks Refuge has a presentation series, every month from 2pm - 3:30.  To check the topic, go to www.nationalparks/st.marks.

Second Saturday is designated as Shop Locally.  Please support our local business".                                The Museum of Florida History hosts the Second Saturday Family Program.  Stories, tours, arts and crafts, fun for all.  Museum is located at the R.A. Gray Building.

Third Thursday:  Museum of Florida History has extended museum hours, with presentations revolving around the current highlighted exhibit.  Food and beverages catered by a local restaurant are available for purchase.   www.museumof floridahistory.com

Fourth Tuesday:  Museum of Florida presents History at High Noon, with a lecture highlighting the current exhibit.

In addition, our local nurseries present excellent workshops on site.  Each week brings different topics relating to gardens, trees, plants, etc.  All seasonally based.
