Drum Circle, Poi Fire Dancing on the 1st Drum Circle of 2009 in Trinity-Bellwoods Park. The Summer 2009 Season is ON!
We will be alternating weekly between Cherry Beach Park (aka Clarke Beach Park) and Trinity-Bellwoods Park.

Drumming starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. with an Om Circle.
The conditions of our permits in both parks are identical to previous years:
- All drumming and loud noise ends at 11 p.m. No Exceptions.
- Leave No Trace. Please clean up after yourself and others.
- Act with our best discretion in and around the park.
- Be Good Neighbours.
By attending this event YOU AGREE TO THESE CONDITIONS, since these are the agreements we have with The City & the neighbourhood that allow this cherished gathering to exist. Please kindly spread the word to those who may not know.
We rely on donations from participants and the sale of Drummers in Exile T-shirts ($20) to cover the cost of the permits and insurance.
TTC Access to Cherry Beach
Take the 72A Bus either south from Pape Station or East from Union Station (Bay Street south of Front). Both routes take you as far south on Cherry St. as Commissioners Street at which point you have a 10-15 walk south to the beach. The buses run every 15-25 minutes without interruption, with the last bus leaving Cherry/Commissioner St. around 1:30 a.m.
Starting sometime in May, the 172 (Seasonal) bus will go all the way south to the base of Cherry Street!
Please note
This event grows organically, naturally, by word of mouth and sound of drum, and it does not need the help of facebook stati, twitter tweets, myspace, craigslist, blogs or any other kind of advertising.
Please keep in mind that drumming in large groups in any downtown parks on days, times or locations not covered by our permits could seriously jeopardize our ability to obtain permits in the future.
