Patrons in line on Wednesday July 15 2009. The Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program will now serve a Friday meal in addition to the meals already served on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Starting on Friday, June 12 2009, an additional dinner service will be introduced to the Toronto program. Patrons will also be provided with a takeaway meal for the following day.

Come out and join the team. The program is always in need of volunteers. For more information contact the volunteer coordinator for the meal program:

  • Wednesday Dinner at 5 p.m. - Volunteer Coordinator, Alison Rose,
  • Thursday Breakfast at 6:45 p.m. - Volunteer Coordinator, Jay Brecher,
  • Friday Dinner at 5 p.m. - Volunteer Coordinator, Esther Facchini,
  • Sunday Breakfast at 9 a.m. - Volunteer Coordinator, David Bronskill,

Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program at Osgoode Hall

All meals are served in the Law Society of Upper Canada cafeteria, 130 Queen Street West , Toronto.

Program times are as follows:

  • Wednesday Dinner at 5 p.m.
  • Thursday Breakfast (brown-bag lunch also provided) at 6:45 a.m.
  • Sunday Breakfast (brown-bag lunch also provided) at 9 a.m.

This important year-round community service is made possible thanks to generous donations to The Law Society Foundation and their committed volunteers.

The Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program has provided hot, healthy community meals to Toronto residents in need since 1998.

Lawyers from across the Greater Toronto Area continue to be program leaders.

As a result of their work, the broader community contributes significantly through charitable gifts and volunteerism.
