Bright Pink Sea Anemones at the Oklahoma Aquarium / Brett Morrison / CC BY-NC 2.0

The Oklahoma Aquarium is a public non-profit aquarium dedicated to the mission, “Conservation Through Education.”  It features eight exhibit galleries, with both salt water and fresh water animals.  Many Oklahoma native animals, such as alligator gars, are on view. Exciting creatures from much farther away are swimming around--and over--visitors as well. Walk through Shark Adventure tunnel at the end of the aquarium building, and you'll see mammoth lemon, sand tiger, nurse, and bull sharks gracefully gliding beside you and over your head.
