Big 106 (CHWY-FM) is a radio station licensed to Weyburn, broadcasting from studios located on 305 Souris Avenue. It is a sister station to AM 1190 and Magic 103.5.
History
Its license was approved by the CRTC in February 2012; it began test broadcasting in mid-November 2013, and officially launched at 8:30 AM on December 10, 2013 as K106. For the music geeks out there, the first song played was ACDC's "For Those About To Rock"..
On October 17, 2018, the station made a "big" change; switching to variety hits as "Big 106"
