Union de Tula
The Union de Tula taco truck/trailer can be found on the east side of East St. a block or so south of Main. It has been owned and operated by Lorenzo Llamas and his family since 2003. In fact, this is the third truck, preceded by another in Bakersfield and their original one in the town of Union de Tula, Jalisco.
The side of their trailer reads "Churros" is large red letters. Their churros are made fresh to order, and are extremely delicious, but they serve more than their signs let on. For hot summer days they serve snow cones with fresh fruit.
They have stopped serving tacos in the summer of 2010, but the deserts are still more than worth your time.
