In the Town of Elon, there are a variety of gluten-free options at a number of different restaurants both in the university and in the surrounding area. This allows people to not be limited to only one or two eating establishments that meet their needs.
Pandora's Pies -

Pandora's Pies is a restaurant located in downtown Elon next to the university bookstore. They serve pizza made with dough that is 100% organic and they strive to provide their customers with the freshest ingredients possible.. They serve their pizza by the slice, or in different sizes of pizzas. The personal pies are a great size for one person if one slice can't cut it. And the 14 and 18 inch ones are good for multiple people. Every pizza they make can be made gluten-free allowing a free range of selection for everyone.
Simply Thai -

Simply Thai is a traditional Thai restaurant that offers many gluten free options. Simply Thai has gluten free noodle and rice dishes, and many other traditional Thai dishes, such as Lad Na and different curries which are gluten free as well.
Mellow Mushroom -

Mellow mushroom is a pizza chain that was established in the 1970s. Their goal is to serve pizza with fresh ingredients within a fun and different environment. They have various locations around the country, mostly in the southeast. Around Elon they are in Burlington on Huffman Mill Road. They have a separate menu with a gluten-free crust with variations of they classic and most popular pies including the House Special and Gourmet White pizzas.
Red Robin is a nationwide American casual dining chain specializing in gourmet burgers including "Fire Grilled Burgers", Chicken sandwiches, and more all served on a signature Red Robin Gluten Free bun. Red Robin also has gluten free sides including "bottomless steak fries " as well as sweet potato fries, which are often hard to find to be gluten free . Red Robin is located just outside of Elon, about a 5 minute drive from campus in Burlington, North Carolina.
Olive Garden is a nationwide chain with a very large menu. They are located in Burlington, which is right outside of Elon. Their menu is large but they have a smaller condensed menu that is gluten free. This menu includes several salads without the croutons, and several pasta dishes and other entrees. They have a gluten-free section of their kids menu as well. While this gluten-free menu is small, it does exist.
El Carbonero -

El Carbonero is an authentic Salvadorean restaurant offering many specials and traditional dishes such as papusas and authentic Salvadorean Tacos. Everything is made fresh to order for a very good price. El Carbonero is very gluten free friendly because all of their tortillas are made from corn. El Carbonero is a great gluten free choice for the whole family for a very good price. El Carbonero is located very close to the Elon Campus in Graham, NC.
Local Yogurt-

Local Yogurt is a frozen yogurt store located in Elon. They create a fun and vibrant environment to make their experience more enjoyable. All of the frozen yogurt is both Kosher and Gluten -free so you can try anything without limitations.
The Root -

The Root is a restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Elon. They create food that is fresh, nutritious and most of all flavorful. They have a variety of options on the menu to meet many dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free. With the college budget reflected in their prices, it is a very popular place for university students to go out and eat.
