Alex de Parry is an Ann Arbor homebuilder and developer, and the founder and president of Ann Arbor Builders. He is currently Vice President of the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor.
Alex de Parry started Ann Arbor Builders, Inc. in 1971, two years after graduating from The University of Michigan. Since then, the company has developed several subdivisions, built hundreds of single and multi-family homes, and owned and restored many historic properties.
de Parry proposed the City Place / Heritage Row development on South Fifth Avenue in 2007, before eventually selling the approved project in 2011 to Rochester-based Campus Village Communities, which constructed the development.
In 2013, de Parry brought forth the Liberty Landings proposal, an 8-unit condo to be developed on the site of the Liberty Car Wash.
