Family Vietnamese restaurant at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Huron, in a building with a gun-metal grey facade. (Upper story windows were cut through the metal in 2012, mitigating the building's appearance as a giant blank cube.)
Good food, fairly cheap - a dozen lunch specials around $5. Try the catfish in brown sauce as a dinner entree.
The building went up for sale in October 2014, and the restaurant plans to close when it sells.
December 30, 2014. Downtown Ypsilanti restaurant owners put building on the market, plan to close the business. Ann Arbor News. "Rashad Williams, the listing agent for Keller Williams, said the approximately 12,000-square-foot building at 100 and 102 W. Michigan Ave. has been on the market since mid-October and is listed for $850,000. The sale price includes all the restaurant equipment and liquor license."
