Thomas J. Keech (1840 - 1915) was manager of the Fredon Lumber Yard in Ann Arbor. He was an alderman in the Fourth Ward and president of the Board of Public Works.

Keech installed the first Bell telephone in Ann Arbor in 1881, and managed the Ann Arbor exchange from 1881 to 1903. He retired with a pension from Bell Telephone in 1913 after 32 years of service.
