The Pantagraph

The Pantagraph is a newspaper that is dispersed throughout that entire Bloomington-Normal area. There are multiple sections in The Pantagraph including Local, World, Sports, Business, and Classifieds. The Pantagraph may also be accessed online at http://www.pantagraph.com. The Pantagraph is an essitial source of information to the local community and will be for years to come. The Pantagraph building is located at 301 W. Washington St in Bloomington. The Pantragraph was started in 1837 by Jesse W. Fell. The name is derived from the Greek words "panta" and "grapho", which has a combined meaning of "write all things." Originally called The Bloomington Observer and McLean County Advocate, the newspaper went through several name changes, such as The Whig, The Intelligencer, The Daily Pantagraph and The Pantagraph in 1985, finally shortened to just Pantagraph in 2006, changing back to The Pantagraph in 2008.
