Ashes to Empire is a band originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Ashes to Empire is the 3rd band of Alien Feedings, who became a local fixture in the St. Louis alternative music scene in the 1990s through his punk band Otto's Revenge and as the producer of the local alternative compilation series "The Guide to Fast Living" which helped bring larger audiences to local music and also raised awareness of a teen help line.
Now living in Northern California, Chico was selected as the new home base for Ashes to Empire. Recording began at Chico-based Origami Studios in the Fall of 2008 along with the first string of shows booked by Devil Kat Productions. Recording with Scott Barwick continued through the Fall of 2012 with the release of "Personal Velocity Device" due in 2014.
Ashes to Empire will begin recording it's second studio record (name tbd) at Prairie Sun Studios in January 2014.
